How to manage dirty feet.

I always have a mat inside the door with a towel beyond that. If it's just water wet, I open the door and stand in front of him, slowly backing up while he creeps forward onto the mat then the towel. By then his feet are dry enough. If it's muddy feet, I use a damp towel and do it outside the door for easiest cooperation. Otherwise he comes in as above, and I block him while cleaning his feet.
