Scale at Petsmart!

You'd think I'd seen it by now, as many times as I've been there. For anyone that doesn't know, Petsmart has a scale available for weighing your Danes - kind of impossible to do at home!

My sweetie pie Sarge, whom I adopted in Sept and at 14 mos was 105 lbs, is now 18 mos and a healthy 131 pounds!!!!!

All Petsmart's have these? I've never seen one, but I'll definitely have to check that out We go a good bit, so that would definitely come in handy. On another note, does anyone know of a place to order the huge scales like vet's use? Or even a used one? My vet's is a big stainless steel scale.

Unfortunately none of the Petsmart stores in Chicago's Northwest 'burbs have scales. I have to take Java to the vet's to get weighed.

I think PetsMart's that have Vet's offices inside them all have them.

I take Gypsy down the street to a friend that owns a feed store. He has a scale that he weighs goats on.

I just found out about the scale at this location. Yes, there is a vet and grooming at the location, although the scale is located in a small corridor next to the groomers, so you don't have to go in to the grooming room to get to the scale.

I was wanting to weigh Sarge, so I walked into the grooming area and asked if they or the vet had a scale I could use. They brought me to the scale and we weighed my 'baby'.

Diesel comes home this weekend, and we are headed to Petsmart first thing to pick up a few necessities, so we'll definitely look for the scale! He's already a year, so he's not so little anymore! Has anyone used the vet's in Petsmart? We just moved last month, and our previous petsmart didn't have a Banfield, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with them?
