    Health Testing Poll for Dane Owners

    Wondering about the buying decisions of our members. Let us know what health testing was done.
    Health Testing = OFA Hips
    OFA Cardio
    OFA Thyroid
    CERF
    at least one of the above.

    CHIC Program = all above tests were performed and dane is in database.

    On Briar's parents I had:

    OFA hips, cardio and thyroid. and one had cerf. Breeder provided certificates.

      I know a lot of quality breeders that only test for Cardio, hips and eyes. They do not test for thyroid unless something sneaks up that proves a reason for future testing.

        My 6 year old Dane- neither parents were tested at all
        My new puppy- Both parents have CHIC #'s
