    hi maybe a dumb question.i have a 20 month old great dane every once in a while he gets a runny stool.is it ok to feed canned pumkin on a regular basis??

    Yes if you want to. It won't cause any bad effects.

      I give it almost every day because it makes their coats super soft Plus, they just like the taste.

        Really? Cool! Sounds like Cisco and the Doxies will be getting a 'lil bit' of pumpkin with breakfast from now on because I love the idea of a softer coat. Thanks for asking Cheryl...........and for answering Carol and Laura!

                Any age limits on introducing canned pumpkin? My Dazy is 13 weeks and I am curious.

                  No age limits. Give her a teaspoon every now and again and if you find she's a little loose then hold off on it. Pumpkin is one of those great "regulator" fibers. It helps to firm when loose, and eases things when constipated. (pure pumpkin...not pie filling)

                      hi just wanted to say thanks everyone.i have been giving him pumkin everyday hi stools are 100 percent betterand he likes the pumkin too.
