We call this one "Hurricane Danes" because this was when Hurricane George was
about to hit & rip New Orleans apart & it had flooded our yard. Domineaux &
Merci were laughing & having a blast splashing & running at top speeds...
just look at those smiles!! Luckily the hurricane didnt hit us, altho it was
a VERY close call.  Krystalaine Danes

This is Shadow Day ~ who owns Terrie Day in New Orleans.
He says "Duh, which way did he go?"
This is him in one of his goofy silly moods...I think this pic is hillarious &
shows us what a sense of humor danes have!!

I have enclosed a picture of me with Daisy, Sable's 'adopted sister. We
purchased Daisy from a pet store around New Years. She passed on from distemper,
14 pain filled days after we got her. I was hoping you would put this on your site,
with a possible comment about her unfortunate death, and STRONG RECCOMENDATION
for not buying danes, or any puppy for that matter, from a pet store.(Unless you do STRONG RESEARCH on the pet store, and the parentsof the puppy.)

We spent a total of 1500.00 on Daisy, and that was with the vet only charging us his cost.
The only thing we paid full price for was Daisy(from the pet store) and her cremation and urn
expense. That is over 100.00 a day. It has been too painful to talk about until recently, and
if we could prevent this from happeningto just 1 future pet owner, well, that would be nice.

No, the pet store did not refund our money.

The only solace we take is that Daisy was in our LOVING CARE for the last days of her life.
We made those last days as best for her as we possibly could.
Thank You. Adam short,  gdane33@yahoo.com
