A LOVING TRIBUTE TO...

"Ruby"

This is Ruby, my very first Dane. She was with us for 13 wonderful years. Our Vet was amazed she was this old. I guess nobody told her she wasn't supposed to live this long. 

I've never known a dog to be as gentle and loving as she was. She mothered everything from baby ducks to kittens. She never left my side when we were outside, even to play with the other dogs. She was my kids self appointed babysitter, and my best friend. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about her. 

She may be gone, but never forgotten.
