"Haley"
DOB 10/31/1995

This is Haley with her little cousin Ellie. Haley came into my life just after her first birthday. Every bone in her body was showing. She had been left in the back yard to fend for herself with no food, no shelter, and no companionship.

Haley quickly took charge of my household. After 9 years, she still believes it is her duty (and her right) to protect me from any manner of danger- real or perceived. Her muzzle is grey now. Her heart is weak - but her spirit and love are as strong as the day she came into my life.
