A LOVING TRIBUTE TO...

"Dodger"

This is Dodger, he was my favorite dog at the rescue I volunteer at. He went to the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, April 3. We don't know how old he was, but I do believe he was older than 10.

He was found in the mountains of Tryon, NC and only weighed 63 pounds. He never got past 95 pounds in the year and a half that
we had him, even though we kept shoveling in the Magic Meatloaf, he loved it, but never gained. The doctor says his system had been deprived of food for so long, that it was always in survival mode.

He was a really smart old guy. He wandered onto someone's property
before he was rescued, and they would watch him dig a hole every night, climb in and cover himself with leaves and things to hide himself.

I just fell in love with him, and it just won't be the same not seeing him up there at the rescue when I go...

Love,
Jennifer
