Coping with pet loss || Grief and pet loss || Pet loss and grieving

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

6/24/93 - 3/27/03

Dagon's Noah V Lake "Noah" - my buddy and best friend. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 3/27/03. He was diagnosed with immune kidney disease in 1998 and God blessed me with him for 5 more years then he got TCC (bladder cancer). He was so majestic and so loved. Momma and Daddy miss you my big guy as do Josh and over us and wait for us because we'll be there to cross together.

If it should be that I grow weak,
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
then you must do what must be done,
for this last battle cannot be won.

You will be sad, I understand,
don't let your grief then stay your hand.
For this day more than all the rest,
you love for me must stay the test.

We've had so many happy years,
what is to come can hold no fears,
you'd not want me to suffer so,
the time has come, please let me go.

Take me where my need they'll tend,
and please stay with me until the end.

I don't know where this poem came from...I found it in the back of Noah's album but I did stay until the end and he looked up at me with a thankful look in his eyes. He is a peace and pain free now. Thank you for the time you were with us and we will be there to cross together.

We love you big guy...
Mom, Dad, Josh and Sam
