A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten,
...to live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

IN LOVING MEMORY

"Mars Thundering MinneTonka"

5/30/96 – 12/18/07

In loving memory of our boy Tonka, he was 11 and ˝ years old. Just two weeks ago he fell going outside for his early morning walk and couldn’t get up. The vet said it was arthritis and with medicine he was skipping again after 2 days. It was not meant to be, 5 days later it was worse than before. He never walked or went outside again. We thought our love and affection could save him but we were mistaken. Fortunately, his last week with us was filled with more love than we thought we could ever give. We got to give him yummy foods like turkey and ground beef (lots), hold him and tell him how much we loved him. We snuggled with him as he left us. The hole in our hearts is larger than he was and we will miss him so. The house is so empty without him here. It just feels like a colder place. No-one to greet us when we come home. At least he’s now up in heaven hippity-hoppin’, eating lots of snow and waiting for us!

All our love,

Dad, Mom, Adam & Ross
