Coping with pet loss || Grief and pet loss || Pet loss and grieving

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

We lost our beautiful eight year old Bodhisattva on May 15th. We have very few pictures of Bodhisattva without her sister and constant companion, Zambeze. Bodhisattva was truly one of those special creatures who had touched all those who knew her.

She was a lady, could be aloof, could seem not to care - but was always there in sickness or sadness to give her special kind of comfort. She loved her “Ducks” and her giggle ball. She accidentally took the slide into the pool and she leaped through the breakers on the beach in South Carolina. Zambeze appears frozen without you and we still just can’t believe you’re not here with us. The Bodhisattvas are the “Great Wise Beings”, and you truly lived up to your wonderful name.

Namaste, my sweet girl.

We will love you forever!
