A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten,
...to live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

IN LOVING MEMORY

"Oliver"

Oliver was our three year old Harlequin Great Dane. He shared our home with two German Shepherds. Max was his buddy. Although Oliver was our first Great Dane, he will not be our last.

Oliver passed away on January 18 after a short, but painful illness. His illness started as a kidney infection which passed on to his spleen and his heart. At the end, he lost his sight along with his strength, to where my husband had to carry our 'little man' outside to go the bathroom.

In the three short years Oliver was in our lives, he brought so much happiness and joy, not only to us, but to everyone he met. Oliver received his CGC at the age of 1 1/2 years, and then went on to become AAA certified at 2 1/2 years. We were looking forward to helping others, but in the end, Oliver was the one who needed help.

I believe there is a reason for everything. Someone 'up there' knew that Oliver would not live a long life, so Oliver came into our lives to live a fulfilled albeit short life. He will always be in our hearts.

I love you my little man.
