Coping with pet loss || Grief and pet loss || Pet loss and grieving

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

May 25, 1997- December 22, 2006

Over nine years have passed since I picked you out to become a part of our family. You were such a happy boy. Today we said goodbye to you. Your head in Daddy's lap, you made your way to the bridge.

I know you will wait for us to join you. I know you found a great big stick and your sister when you got there. I also know that you are pain free know. Able to run and jump with no problems. You brought so much joy to us and now there is pain and emptiness. I know time will help and we will cherish you memory forever. You brought so much joy to us. I remember like yesterday, trying to explain to the dispatcher at 3:00 am that my puppy had knocked over my bedside table and it must have been him who dialed 911 and not me. What a laugh we had about that.

The years were not always kind to you, but now you must run, run like you did when you were younger. You can run forever now with no pain in your hips. Until we are together again run boy, run like you are chasing Daddy and David. We love you and miss you more than words can say.
