IN LOVING MEMORY
"Dakota"
Loxley's Dakota Princess left us on May 10, 2006 after 11 years. Her kidneys started to shut down and we made the decision to let her go before she was in too much pain and distress.
Dakota taught us so much and we loved her dearly. The afternoon we took her in, a dear friend was with us and told me she felt so
privileged to have been accepted and loved by Dakota. Dakota had been a handful in the beginning and I wound up putting a small cow bell on her collar, so I would know where she was at all times.
Dakota had a very problematic life with many health issues; panic attacks; and was very misunderstood, but she coped with everything and she was a real fighter up till the end. Kodee girl, when Dad and I get to the bridge we'll be listening for your bell.
Until we meet again.........
