"Harley" 

This is my Harley! Harley came into our lives about 3 years ago as a rescue dog. My cousin found her at a home where she was severely mistreated and neglected. He asked if I would like to take her in and care for her. Harley went from 108 pounds to 148 pounds within months. She held her head high and walked proudly. 

Who could have ever thought that she would have touched our lives so deeply. She brought us many smiles and memories that will fill our hearts for a lifetime...she will never be forgotten. 

A few months ago, Harley sadly deteriorated and after living such a rough life before coming to us, I couldn't bear to let her suffer any longer. She was put to sleep peacefully, allowing me to hold her head on my lap as the angels took her to a place where she would suffer no more. 

The pain still exists, as I miss her every day...but the memory of her loyalty and gentleness will live with me forever! 

I miss you Harley and will love you always!
