Coping with pet loss || Grief and pet loss || Pet loss and grieving

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten, live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

Words can not explain the hurt I feel today. I'm sitting here crying and blowing my nose as I try to type this through blurry eyes.

Today we received the dreaded call from the vet that, our Diva had passed over the Rainbow Bridge during the night.

She was only with us for a couple of months, but within that time she had captured our hearts, and showed us how to open up to loving us her way. It's so hard to believe that she is gone. I don't think it will really set in until I pick up my blankets that I had sent with her to the vet's hospital and she's not coming back home.

I know she's in a much better place and she knew she was going too, she might have been looking forward to it after all that she had gone through.

Mom, Dad, Tasha, Duke, Onyx, and Squirty will miss you Diva. You were our little piece of the heaven above sent to us for some reason that only the one upstairs would know why. We will always have you in our hearts and mind. I know there is a special place in my heart for you and always will be. I'll never forget you as you have enriched my life with your love shown towards me. Bless you my Diva play, romp, and roo roo until we can see each other at Rainbow Bridge.

I love you Diva my little angel.
