Coping with pet loss || Grief and pet loss || Pet loss and grieving

A loved one is never truly gone until they are forgotten,
...to live in the hearts of those left behind is to live forever!

IN LOVING MEMORY

"Gabriel"

This is Gabriel.
Gabriel was my best friend in my house. He was always by my side or at my feet. I was his favorite person he was my favorite baby Dane out of 8. He was only 4 years old and had cardiomyopathy & epilepsy. It was the worst day of my life to have to say goodbye and to put him to sleep.

Our house is as empty as my heart is now. When he was here there was a clown, now there is silence.

When they say Great Danes can be clowns they were talking about Gabriel. My heart breaks for the loss of Gabriel, and my arms ache to have him back.

Gabriel could have a conversation with you and you knew exactly what he was saying. He could tell me "Yes" if I asked him if he was my good boy...

I'll miss him forever.
Jan
