Scarbrough Fair Danes has been breeding harlequins, blacks, mantles, and merles since 1970. We have been importing since 1989 and breed only European bloodlines. We would like to tell you about our new litter but would also like to take this opportunity to thank Barbara Rettig, Liberte Danes, Germany for all of the many wonderful dogs we have imported from her kennel since 1989.

We generally prefer to place ALL of our pups in approved PET homes. We are making an exception with this litter because it is from a Liberte bitch bred to a Liberte dog and presents an opportunity for breeders who want the German type of dane to see the litter in person and acquire a nice addition to their breeding program. They can visit, see ALL of the pups and both parents. By the way, folks looking for nice pets are also encouraged to contact us.

We currently have a litter of 10 show marked pups from Zee Zee Tops Liberte(German Import, harl) to Hippo Liberte(German Import, mantle). Pups were born on 1-05-10 and will be ready to go to their new homes in March. We have one harl male, one harl female, 3 mantle males and five mantle females available. All pups come with our guarantee.

Parents and pups can also be seen on our website http://www.greatdanes.net or in the Danes on Line litterbox. For people in or driving through Atlanta , we show our Danes every Saturday by appointment, starting January 30. We always encourage visitations, whether or not we have available puppies. We also encourage visitors to bring a long list of questions with them.

We want our pups new "parents" to pick up so that they can see their puppy's environment and meet the pups mom and other relatives. We will ship but only when the buyers fly in for pick up and can fly the pups back with them in the passenger compartment of the plane. Our pups are large and can only fit into a soft sided carry on for transport in the passenger’s compartment of a plane the FIRST week that we allow them to leave for their new homes.
