  • Anya and Tristan working on Leave It

Just another video of my 7-year-old working with Tristan. This is her special trick that she is doing with him. He already had a fairly solid foundation of leave it, but the "on the paw" thing is her special bit. He does well with several pieces of food up his arm, but today was the real test. Utz Cheese Balls are his biggest weakness.. they are the highest value treat possible to give him.

          Awesome!!

My 16 yo is working with Carlie with leaving a treat on her nose. When he first started, she did not even want the treat on her nose. He held her upper and lower jaw with it on there and then gave it to her. Now, he is at the point that he just has her rest her chin in his hand, he can put the treat on her nose, and let go of it, and she waits for him to tell her to get it and she flings her nose and grabs the treat when it falls on the floor. She idolizes him, and vice versa, so she loves to please him.

That is so awesome, Chris! That is what Anya is hoping to work toward with this trick. I'd love to see a video of Carlie and your son!
