Tail Wagging Fun at the Goshen Historic Track! The Dog Day Derby of Orange County is being held Sunday, August 29th, 2010. Bring your friendly dogs, and family, and enter the fun events, including a pooch parade, best dressed, cutest dog, dog races, high jump and other fun doggie games for a dog gone good time. Or just come to watch the Windy Hollow Fox Hound demonstration.

Dogs of all breeds and sizes are welcome as entrants or spectators. Events will be divided into height classes to give all dogs a chance at victory.
Bring your own food and refreshments, and spend a wonderful, fun, dogmatic day in the sun.
Open to the public, the Dog Day Derby begins with registration at 10 a.m., an all-breed pooch parade at 10:30 a.m., and the events and activities at 11 a.m. Admission is just $5.00 for adults; kids under 12 are free! Non-competing dogs get in free but must be on a leash at all times. Entry into the dog races and events are open to all dog entrants for a pay-one-price of $20.00 for all events. Doggies please bring one adult each. Poop Scoop laws apply!

I don't think I'll be going just because of the $5 per adult entry fee. If I wanted to bring anyone in my family it would be $5 each? Seems a little steep. But, I figured I'd throw it out there for awareness sake.
