Just an FYI: There is a meet up once a month (first Sunday of every month, so February will be the 6th) of Danes at Piedmont Park dog park.

I don't know hoe I missed this when it was first posted. So, where I'd the park(exit) if I'm coming from Lagrange? I'm new to Danes and this will be my first ever meet up! I'm excited to have one so close to where I live! Yay!!!!

sorry I am just now getting back to this thread. Likfe have been CRAZY the last week or so

I know there are some dane meet-ups in Atlanta....but from Columbus that is a good 1.5 to 2 hour drive just to south Atlanta. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to meet somewhere in the middle. Maybe around Newnan or so if I can find a dog park.....

Guys, I don't think Trysta and I are going to make it this time. I had to take her to the vet this morning and she has not been her self the last couple of days. Not eating well and just listless. They did a blood work up on her and everything there looked good. Not sure what is going on yet, but think we better wait for the next one.
Hey, closer would be good for me too. Not sure where, but I would be driving alone and I'm not familiar with driving in Atlanta, but I was and am willing too, so I can meet you guys and others and so Trysta can make new friends too. I've never been to a dane meet up before and I'm so dissapointed not to be able to come. Please let me know how it goes. Hope you all have fun. Sharon and Trysta

I didn't actually see this message until just now but I'm glad you didn't go because I wasn't able to make it, either! We had a late night on Saturday (got home 3:30 Sunday morning) and neither of us was really interested in getting up anywhere NEAR 10AM to go to the dog park, which I'm sure was very very muddy anyway

Ok, how do people feel about Peachtree City? There is a nice dog park there we could meet up....but it does cost $1 for visitors....
