The Greater Orange Park Dog Club will be holding their annual shows April 7th & 8th, 2012 at the St Johns Fairgrounds (5840 State Road 207, Elkton, FL, 32033). The grounds are over 90 acres, covered arena/pavilion with stadium seating on one side (many of the larger breeds will show here), covered building for toy breeds, concessions, multiple restroom facilities (real ones, not port-o-potties !),and plenty of parking ($5/day for regular vehicles).
[*]The shows will run most of the day (starting about 8:30am), culminating with the Best in Show (BIS) winner each day. The breakdown for Great Danes entered for both days is as follows :
Saturday - 23 danes, Ring #2 at 12:30pm .... 9-8(3-2)1
Sunday - 22 danes, Ring #6 at 8:30am .... 9-8(3-2)
[*]On Friday at the same location, there will be a Shetland Sheepdog Specialty (all shelties, 30 total). More info on ring times, etc - contact dduffey@aol.com
