Mark your calendar! Adventure Landing is hosting its Seventh Annual Dog Lover’s Day!
This fun-filled, all-day long, FREE outdoor event will entertain several thousand First Coast families and their pets at Adventure Landing, create awareness of the ongoing problem of the overpopulation of pets, and hopefully provide many homeless pets a permanent home through our Dog Adoption Fair.

11AM-3PM: Pet Adoption Fair - Bounce House & Games - Vendor Fair
11AM - 12:30PM: Dog Trick Contest On-Site Registration
11:30AM: Flyball Performance
12:00PM: Award-Winning Frisbee Dog Show - Performed by Rescued Dogs
1PM: Dog Trick Contest
2PM: Award-Winning Frisbee Dog Show - Performed by Rescued Dogs
Enjoy the nationally-recognized, award-winning Disc-Connected K9's Frisbee Dog Show. There will be two performances, both choreographed to music. This high-energy, interactive event thrills guests of all ages. Plus, all of the dogs used in the shows have been rescued from animal shelters.
Last year, lots of dogs found new homes from the event alone and many more in the weeks following!
We need your help to find even more dogs new homes this year!
PET FOOD DRIVE
We are partnering with a great, local pet food bank in the area to help stock their shelves with pet food! Anyone who brings in at least a 5lb bag of new dog or cat food to any of our three locations in FL will receive a FREE Round of Mini Golf!
All proceeds go to benefit the First Coast No More Homeless Pets Pet Food Bank!
Last year we collected a record-setting 850lbs. of pet food and we want even more this year.
CHARITABLE DONATIONSBrand new this year, we will be hosting a variety of activities for guests to enjoy with the purchase of activity tickets. Activities included will be a bounce house, face painting, spray tattooing, carnival games and an outside hot dog and hamburger roast. A portion of proceeds from these ticket sales will be donated to a local animal non-profit organization.
DOG TRICK CONTEST
Also new for 2012 is a Dog Trick Contest performed by our very own guests! Anyone wishing to participate must register to particpate as we are only accepting 20 entries. A $3 donation per entry is suggested, as a portion of the proceeds will benefit a local animal non-profit organization.
Plus, winners will receive a pair of Shiprweck Island Waterpark Season Passes for the 2012 Season.
