  • SNOW in Orlando - Nov 5-6

    From UAD site :

Just wanted to let you in on a great event that we just booked at the
last minute in Orlando...the "3rd Annual Doglympics Orlando" Nov. 5-6 at
Avalon Park. Dock jumping is only part of the event, there will also be
agility, lure course, ball toss, weiner dog races, mutt races, longest
stay, Luciano Pavarotti Commemorative Sing-Off, etc. They will also be
having a SNOW PAWTY! Doglando Foundation is bringing in 8 tons of snow
to transform a part of Avalon Park into a Doggy Winter Wonderland,
    complete with Ms. Claus.

There will be fly ball, disc, and hunting demonstrations.

They will also have an area dedicated to rescue groups for adoptions.

Sounds like fun! Too bad it is $15/dog to go play in the snow! I have too many dogs for that price! Although I may take my 2 of my younger dogs as they would probably like it!

PS - definitely know what you mean Tiffany, it might get costly if you have multiple dogs. OTOH, it is probably cheaper taking in a dog or two for that price then loading them up and driving to some place with snow the way gas prices have snuck back up again :/

Had to delete other part of message, had thought I included multiple November events under a single thread ... oops
