March 5th - Mardi Gras Parade, Saturday in St Mary's, GA

The Jax Dane Meetup group plans to participate, if others would like to march with us, they should plan on prepping a costume with the theme : PUTTIN ON THE RITZ. I have a large cardboard box that we are transforming into a Ritz box and will literally be putting on the Ritz (box). Anyone is welcome to just spectate and hang out at end of the parade, there is music and food vendors. March 12th - Adventure Landing Dog Lover's Day, Jacksonville Beach, FL

Adventure Landing is hosting its Annual Dog Lover’s Day on Saturday, March 12, 2011. This fun-filled, all-day long, free outdoor event will entertain several thousand First Coast families at Adventure Landing, create awareness of the ongoing problem of the overpopulation of pets, and hopefully provide many homeless pets a permanent home through our Dog Adoption Fair.

We will be attending in an educational capacity for our All Breed Club and provide info/resources on the Great Dane and others active in breed rescue within our club and area.

March 26th - 2nd Annual Mutts On A Mission Dogwalk for Cancer, Orange Park, FL Town Hall

9am - one mile walk begins (there is an entry fee to walk, but free to walk around and visit vendors). We will be participating in an educational capacity for our All Breed club. More info on the event should be directed to Lisa Martin - muttsonamission@bellsouth.net

March 20 - St Patty Yappy Hour at the Jax Landing. Contests, music, ad LOTS of green This will be an official Jax dane meetup.

Our last March event is this wkkd if anyone is in the area. It is from 9am-noon and there will be arts, crafts, vendors and plenty of dogs

We heard today that Mutts on a Mission has been cancelled due the organizer's illness Hope they feel better soon !

I'll pass the event on, especially since we do have meetup members in SE Ga When I mentioned the event cancellation and that we wouldn't be spending the 4th wkkd in a row doing a doggy event, my husband did his version of the happy dance
