Agressive from surgery??

Has anyone experienced your dog being aggressive or biting after having surgery. I was just reading that you should keep children away from a dog for a day or two because he might bite after surgery from being in pain

My hercules is getting neutered tomorrow morning and I didn't plan on sending my daughter away for a few days. Now i am super nervous

A dog in pain might be more likely to snap. just let you daughter know that he has a boo-boo and to stay quiet and calm around him for a few days till he gets better. I explain to my kids in a way that they understand...
" you remember when you had that cut on your foot and you didn't want me to touch it because it hurt...."

I think you all will be fine as long as you just let your babygirl know to respect the dogs space for a few days!
