  • Zuko pics

Finally got some pictures off of my computer, so here's a few cute ones of Zuko (well at least I think so)

Oh, let me preface by saying that we just moved into the house recently. We were going to replace all the carpets w/hardwood because they are disgusting. The people before us let there kids spill crap everywhere and chew gum and spit it on the carpet (I know, gross). Anyway, when we found out we were getting Zuko, we decided to hold off because of potty training and so that he has carpet while growing. Anyway, lol...

Gavin has to help whenever he sees me training so this is him telling Zuko to sit and giving a treat

I'm handsome and I know it!

SO cute! That last pic reminds me of Zack. They get so into playing with their toys they don't notice you watching them. Does he make those puppy noises while playing with it? Reminds me of kids when they talk to themselves playing with toys.

He's fitting in well with the human family anyway (our labs still aren't sure about him).

He totally talks to his teddy. His vocal range is surprising. I'm so used the labs that have just a couple different vocal sounds. Zuko has a ton and when he plays with teddy, he uses a lot of them. When he's in his crate and doesn't want to be, he uses the rest, lol.

And yes, I believe he will be a VERY big boy!

How old is he in the photos? You must be so busy with
                    pups and toddlers...

He's 4 months old in the pics. On Zuko's 2nd day home when he was sitting on the kids (literally), I thought holy heck. But it's actually been pretty easy. My kids are super active and super tough so that helps. The hardest part is potty training Zuko because I want to catch him going outside and it's not always convenient to stand out in the freezing cold w/3 kids while he's going, lol. The only other hard part is making sure Zuko doesn't eat toys and socks. The kids are learning though that if a toy is on the ground, they are probably going to lose it so it's actually a good thing as they are being better picker uppers

I'm sure I'll have some challenges as Zuko gets even bigger and hits his teenage phase, but it's all fun so far...
