My oldest daughter and I have had a great mother/daughter relationship. As she got older, we became even closer...even through her angsty teen years. LOL! Maybe its because we share our birthday or only 20 years separate us. We can finish each others sentences. We share so many common interests. She knows me as well as I know myself and vice versa. I love her with all that I am. She is my first born and my best friend.

Chance and Lucy have a great friendship, but Chance and Savanah had, what I believe, was a once in a lifetime bond...



Plus, she always laughed at all of his jokes, (even if they weren't always funny )...

Buckie (our pit mix) and Phinny are besties too... no time for cuddles at our house though! Just rough and tumble playing. Buckie always bites Phin's extra floppy skin and Phinny drags Buck around by the ears. When Buck goes for the legs, Phinny pulls Buck by the tail. As awful as it looks, it's actually gentle biting and tugging on each other. Like brothers for sure!

Cassie Cat and Toby were best friends. Sadly, we lost Toby to cancer a couple of years ago and although Cassie tries to cuddle up to my other dogs, none of them actually like her like Toby did.
