Hi quick question i got my puppy at 8 weeks from our breeder. What is the general time the cup stays on the ears before you switch to a different tapping method.

The cup usually stays on until the stitches come out (typically 10 days). Then the real fun begins.

Did your breeder not tell you or show you how to care for the ears? Did they direct you to the vet?
My boy came home with no tape or cups and didn't get posted till 6 days after his crop. Different strokes for different folks. Best bet is to contact your breeder and set up a step by step for the first time and see if they are able/willing to help you with the first couple of times.sigpic
