  • Ear Pocket??

I have heard several "DOLers" use the term pocket. What is this and does anyone have a picture??

PS I am going to take Holly's ears down tomorrow... 2nd round of tapes.... 5 days since last taping! I am very excited to see how they look!!! And WOW those tapes get dirty in 5 days!!!

I don't have a picture. If you have one ear straight up and the other ear
tilts in towards the other ear from the bottom and the tilted ear appears
to be shorter than the upright ear, you probably have a pocket.

Well darn, it still doesn't look right.
To avoid this, always pull the ear up and slightly out away from the
    head when you tape.

Agreed. It is typically at the base of the ear. IT is caused when the ear isn't fully pulled straight and it causes the affected to ear to lean inward slightly and appear shorter. As stated, just make sure you pull the ear to up and slightly away from the head when taping.
