  • Ears up, but...

Jade's ears have stood (when she wants them to) since December 18th. When they're not standing at attention, they're basically like the pooch on the top of this page. When she's lazy, she may as well be Yoda, as her ears are flat. What do you think- keep taping, or is she just Yoda when she's tired? As I said, when she's at attention, both ears are poker-straight. It's only when she's sleeping or laying down resting that they're Yoda-like.

    Thanks for the advice!

Our 7yr old,Roku, when tired or feeling a lil off, folds one of his ears in half and down making it look like a flop crop.
    His ears are anything but.

Sounds like taping is behind you.
The ears aren't always standing at attention.

I put her ears back up last night. They've been down since December 18th, but the last couple of days have not impressed me.

IMO, it's completely unfair that they flopped after a month. x(

She'll get there, just leave them up a while, give her 1/4 packet of knox gelatine (sp?) daily, 750 mg Glucosimine & Condroitin (sp?) a day for two weeks & then take her down again. Elliott's almost there too, we're down to breath Right strips for the tips for two weeks now. He was down for two weeks & then started to flop. Don't lose faith, she'll get there......

Maybe a playdate would perk up her ears, hee.

Yup- I think a playdate WOULD help!

          I'll email you soon.

I scheduled her spay for Feb. 6th though, so she's going to be laying low for a while after that.

Edited to add: Mitch- I've been jealous of the Little Man's cartilidge since the first day a saw him.

LEAVE THEM UP FOR A WEEK AT A TIME. THEY SHOULD STAND 80% OF THE TIME UNLESS THEIR ASLEEP OR BEEN ACTIVE ALL DAY AND RESTING. YOUV'E COME THIS FAR AND YOU DON'T WANT TO MESS UP NOW. GOOD LUCK.
