  • Full tape or breath right strips??

    Hi,
I have a 4.5 month old dane Justice and I noticed that when I take his ears out of tape if I push on one part of cartiledge in his ear they stand perfect.. When he is out of tape they break and fall flat about mid center. If he puts his head down and stands up they will stand for a few minutes then fall.
Should I continue full tape or I heard about the breath right strips should I try those. I am asking b/c my other dog is helping him get the tape off.. She will sniff and lick his ears making him shake more until the tubing pops out. Help!!! I have to retape like every other day and that if I try to keep them separated...

The breathe right strips help if the tips are curling. If they bend in the middle of the ear, I think you should still be taping. Mind you it's been a year and a half since I had to tape.

I've tried the breathe rite strips and they don't stay...period. In five minutes they are both on the floor....back to taping...

ARE YOU PUTTING SKIN BOND ON THE TUBES SO THEY WILL STICK BETTER?
