  • Danes VS Sandals

I haven't posted in a while, but thought I needed to share a funny story. Others may have this same problem with their danes. Ok so I lost another sandal today. My Mother's dog was over and he has grown so much and in typical dane fashion follows right behind and acts as a barracade through any hallway. Well Zeus stepped on the back of my sandal today and broke the darn thing and almost tripped me in the process. This is the fourth sandal I have lost this way. Jack has broken three of my sandals already. Just wondering if there are any other danes that follow so close they break sandals???

Giovanni hasn't broken any yet... He has tripped us by stepping on the back of our shoes and sandals. He can't walk behind us or he will give us "flat-tires" constantly... Once, he's actually taken my flip-flop off cause he stepped on it and walked off with it on his foot (the strap that goes between ur toes was bwteen his!! He kinda flipped once he realized something odd was on his foot.

LOL So funny!! Jack has not come away wearing the shoe yet. That is priceless. With a dane in the home and now an extra one from time to time it does seem like I am always having to slip a shoe back on the foot. Glad to know that I am not just clumsy....lol

I'm a wierdo and even wear flip flops in the winter! Slate steps on my flip flops constantly around the house, any observer would think that I have a real problem walking! lol!

Oh gosh...mine do that all the time...but they have never broken the sandal. I hate when they do that tho!

Oh I hate when they do that! I stopped wearing flip flops around the house after Cooper stepped on it and I took a step, but the sandal didn't break but I could've sworn my toe did! I had such a bruise on the joint of my big toe for a week.

I have ONE of so many flip flops!
Luckily I still have PAIRS... granted, they don't match, but at least I have a left and a right!

Lucky for us we're quite invisible when walking our danes, don't think too many people will notice the inconsistency
