  • Welcoming Mimsy!!

We just got home from Chicago area with our new girl! Her rescue name was Minnie but we are calling her Mimsy, at least for now. Pictures to come but right now she is scoping out the house, meeting the kitties, and slurping down water like it's out of style. I forgot how messy they are when drinking water...
We have her on a 2 week trial basis but so far it looks good. Our big no-nos with a dog are dog aggression, cat aggression, and jumping the fence. She has been friendly but not aggressive so far to the other animals, and won't even jump the short x-pen we're using as a gate to keep the dogs out of the back room.

We already got our first "Is that a Dalmatian?" comment from the girls next door...LOL. Got a lot of admiring looks when we stopped at the rest area on the way back to potty her, too. She is a very handsome girl, but so skinny!
