need help training myself

probably a month or so ago i posted how i was charged at (aggressivly) by offleash dogs while walking in my neighborhood... (4 dogs in a span of a week to be specific)

since then i have been too scared to walk my dogs in the neighborhood. my husband has taken over this job for me. i will still take them to the park for a hike on the trails but thats it. i cant bring myself to walk around the block. i tried once and i could totally tell my boy windsor was getting all amped up from my worry, it was not our normal fun walk.

how do i fix my fear? my husband says they are totally fine and normal for him when he goes in the neighborhood. when i have them at the park we are good (since i am not scared)

I would go for short walks with your husband and dogs and have him hold the leash. Maybe have you walk behind them on the sidewalk. This way you are going along and seeing for yourself that things are better and that the dogs are ok. The dogs will also have you along and hopefully in a calmer state. Eventually maybe take one leash and him hold one. Just go at it slow.

i will try both of those things. im not scared of myself getting attacked by a loose/stray dog, im scared of my guys getting getting hurt by another dog.

i know i cant keep them in a protective bubble and loose dogs are a part of life, but man i guess i didnt think it would freak me out so bad.

I considered the air horn, but figured it would freak out my dogs more.
