This is a good thread and has sound advice, most of which I agree with.

I am just surprised it has gone this long without the detractors coming in to say it is outdated and potentially dangerous advice.
Needless to say I'd disagree with them, but like a certain part of the anatomy, everyone has an opinion whether they know what they are talking about or not.

Nowhere in this post does it say to use physical force to get your dog to do anything, and it does not promote the dominance theory - it just promotes the Nothing in Life is Free theory that every dog owner should put into practice. Therefore, there's no reason why anyone should have a problem with K9 Military School.

Well if you read my previous posts rather than decide to be part of the pack mentality you would know that most of my training revolves around positive reenforcement. However I also use parts of the "dominance theory" as it has been called here. I do not hit or kick my dogs, but have held them down, and it has been effective.
I do find it funny that you of all people who had a problem with Scarlett, only resolved it using the alpha roll, yet you want to be part of the harpie club. I do not recall you saying anyone was hurt, but I do recall you saying it was effective.
I on the other hand have never had a dog "shredding my arms and all my clothes", so maybe you can learn a thing or two from me. The advice will be free provided you ask nicely.

Well good, I am glad to hear that. She seems like a good girl overall from what I've read about her and seen of the video with her frolicking in the snow. She just needs a few boundaries set/reestablished and she will be just fine.

And the purpose of your post is what exactly? It is obviously not related to the subject of the thread, so it seems more like a troll post.

As you can see my last post before you decided to stir the pot was a positive one between myself and Scarlett's Mum.
