Here we go again. I no sooner get one problem under control before another begins. Milt will be 18 months old on March 19th. We adopted him at the age of 10 months from the humane society. The first day we brought him home, he peed in the house by the door which was understandable due to the newness of the situation. He had not had another accident until last week. He peed, without letting us know, and he was verbally reprimanded for it. Yesterday and today he did it again, both times while I was getting his breakfast. He knew he was wrong once it was brought to his attention and looked like he'd lost his best friend. He's been in the same routine since we got him. He eats, chews a bully and then goes out. This gives him a little rest before he romps in his run. He's never been in a hurry to go out first thing in the A.M. but I'm thinking about taking him out first. I just don't understand why the peeing all of a sudden. Any info is always appreciated. Are there any more surprises that I should be ready for at his age? Love him to death, no matter what.

I always take mine out as soon as they get up in the morning. I figure, I need to go at that time so they probably do too. And they do!Lissa's furkids: Jupiter (RIP), Merlot (RIP), Savannah, and Poet

It just seems strange that after all these months of being, "pee free" that he would start to go in the house. I will take him out first thing, just to be safe. I'll have to check out the symptoms of a UTI. He seems fine, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I didn't know if it was another "teenage antic" I wasn't aware of. Thanks again.
