  • Bell Ringers.

"Cha Cha" is my first Dane to be trained to ring the bells when she wants to go out. Success..she learned
the trick in 5 minutes. I was so proud.

    Here she is patiently waiting...

    But now {according to Ron} I've created a monster. She thinks it's
great fun to see how many times in one hour she can get him to
obey her commands. Goes out OK.. but then demands to be let in
3 minutes later. And so it goes, over, and over, and over again.

Ron is about ready to shove those bells where the sun don't shine ..
so how do you get a dog to quit playing a game??

Well, found the way to make ya jump. That is pretty funny though. "Everytime a bell rings an Angel gets its wings", you may want to let your pup know this, lol. And, is a cutie by the way.

WOW!!! I can't believe how big she's gotten! We just ignored them if they just came in. Annie always thought it was great fun to just randomly ring them and then not go out when we opened the door. Now we have the doggie door and all of the dogs go in and out at will except Annie. She goes out but won't come in. When I go out this afternoon I'm going to lock the door so if she wants in she will HAVE to use the doggie door.
~Patty~ I have the right to remain silent; I don't have the ability.

Wow she got big fast. If she knows that potty in the house is forbidden you can ignore her ringing, if not wait it out until she does. They usually make the distinction from preferable to forbidden around that time.

        She's gorgeous.

          Oh gosh she is CUTE!!!

I know what you mean...I taught Parker to woof if he wanted to go outside, and then he thought if he woofed at things he'd get what he wanted!! He'd go up to someone eating and just nicely woof and look at them, waiting....haha!

She can ring the bell (and guard the kettle) for Salvation Army! I'm sure she'd attract extra $$$$ for them!
