Hooray!!!

I'm sorry if you are tired of hearing about him, but I can't help it! Ansel is doing FANTASTIC in class (although the instructor isn't all that great ). We did out first stay and the instructor walked behind the dogs with her dog to see if she could distract them. Ansel didn't even look at her! :e) I am so proud of my boy. He is doing so much better than I ever imagined. I have a lot of fun with him in class and I think that helps us both out tons.

I know how you feel. Makes you proud! Funny, but I'm not overly impressed with our obedience instructor either...maybe I had higher expectations never having been to an obedience class before?

Perhaps, but I also know that I question some of the methods ours uses. Last week she instructed a lady with a Yorkie to drag her dog until it started walking! If we had more options I would do something else. As is we take what we like and leave what we don't. I do think I had higher expectations too, this being my first class too. Good luck to you!

Good job Ansel!!! :e) And no were not tired of hearing about it...that's why I asked you to keep us updated on his progress. So glad he is doing well and y'all are having fun.

Sorry about the trainer though. It took me forever to find a trainer that actually impressed me and that I agreed with all her methods...but before that I was made to "settle" with what I could find. Just make sure if your trainer reccomends something your not comfortable with tell them "no!". After all, they work for you so you have the upper hand in this situation.

Congrats! Our second obedience class will be next wednesday on Valentines Day I hope Fender does as well as Ansel :e)
