Hello guys, sorry I have not been on in a while, but I have been having a streak of horrible luck. 
The latest problem I am having is quite terrible. About a week ago Hans was playing with a strange dog that he had met, a dachshund, and they romped and played for about and hour. Anyway right after this I notice him itching really bad, and getting a few bald spots. Take him to the vet and to my horror, he was diagnosed with sarcoptic mange. I am absolutely mortified by this. So he gave him an injection of ivermectin, injection of amoxicillin steroid and gave me some pills called simplicef 200 mg. I have been bathing him with special shampoo. I am so worried, after all this all he wants to do is sleep. I was just wondering if this is normal from being on the simplicef and everything he has been through? I washed and disenfected everything, do I need to take any other precautions to prevent reinfestastion? I have never dealt with mange of any kind, especially sarcoptic, I really upset about all of this. Do you all know of anything else I could do to make him feel better? Also I found a product called revolution, it is supposed to prevent fleas,tick,heartworms,and sarcoptic mange. Have any of you guys used this? Should I get it for Hans? Sorry about all the questions, just very worried about my poor boy. Thanks so much!
