  • Great Dane Club of New England Fall Specialty

I am planning to attend (as a spectator) the GDCNE Fall Specialty show in Springfield, MA in November . . . I believe it is to be held Friday, Nov. 21, 2008.

Can someone please confirm that date, as I have also seen it listed as Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 . . . I want to make sure of the date.

I was also wondering how well this show is attended and if there will be a good size group of dogs present.

    Thanks!

This looks to be the show that the specialty is being held at http://www.infodog.com/clubs/2008033003.HTM
Times will be published about a week before the show

Well behaved danes are not born. They are “made” by responsible and caring dane owners.

I think Infodog previously had it listed (incorrectly) as Thursday. The show is definitely Friday and should pull a good size group of danes for conformation. Infodog allows you to check prior years' numbers if you want an idea of what to expect.

Ring times will be posted on Infodog in mid-November. There's also obedience, rally, and agility at the Springfield shows, all of which will likely have a dane or two showing. I'm dragging my feet, but will likely run Sadie in rally and agility that day.

Thank you for confirming that the date is Fri., Nov. 21. The Infodog site did have it listed as Thurs., Nov. 20th for a while, but now I see it is Nov. 21.

I will watch the site for show times, I want to arrive in plenty of time before the judging starts.
