they are all in food comas, stretched out on my bed. have to go to work in a bit, first day back at the office since before i brought eden home! it's killing me but i know i have to keep them separate for a few weeks, just to be on the safe side. i hid a few cookies down the hall, put a couple of cushy beds back there (eden gets one end of the house, 'livi and destiny get the other, separated by a gate), and i have a kong in the freezer stuffed with peanut butter i will give her when i leave. it's gonna be a LONG day without cuddling for me!!! thankfully, i only have to be gone 2 days/week!

seriously, eden's transition has been flawless. she and the other girls are getting along so well, really beyond my wildest dreams! she has 9 year old olivia doing zoomies every day. destiny is a little more hesitant to get involved in rough play but she has warmed up to eden and they often sleep curled up next to each other.

Jealous of the heap of snuggling danes, June will have no part of snuggling with Henry. His only chance to be close to her is to move his bed closer to her, at which point she moves to another spot. Same ole June.

I have been really pleasantly surprised at how all 3 have bonded especially considering they are all females. Carolyn and I discussed this and we both agreed that it would very likely be a match made in heaven which, indeed, it has turned out to be.

in the last couple of days, destiny has joined in the zoomie fun outside. it's usually happening when i'm doing chores in the pig pen so I haven't been able to catch it on film. gonna have to try harder!
