  • King Komb?

Has anyone tried this shedding tool on a Dane? I usually don't associate a shedding blade with a Dane coat, but I saw a Dane in one of their advertisements. Of course, anything that might reduce shedding intrigued me.

I contemplated getting one of them. I probably still will because it looks like they work amazingly well and Ive been told more then enough times at work that I have a dog hair shirt on lol. Havnt tried it myself but hopefully someone has one that could say yae or nae.

I would caution you that it might be too harsh on a Dane coat - although maybe that's just because I live on the west coast. I used one on my Aussie mix but my Dane hated it and I could tell it was literally bumping along her ribs and spine because her fur was very short and sleek. Neither my current or previous Dane built up a winter coat and they never "blew their coats" either.

Maybe borrow from a friend or run one along your dog at a pet store as a test run?

I haven't heard of the king komb but if you are looking for a good shedding brush we use the zoom groom and it works wonders on the dog and the cats!

Essentially the same as the SleekEZ. I use the Zoom Groom in while bathing, then follow up with my SleekEZ. It is a powerful combination

Never heard of the SleekEZ, I will check that out. I actually use a horse body brush after the Zoom Groom and that works pretty good but it looks like the SleekEZ might work even better.
