    introducing my newest addition

I'd like to introduce Nala to everyone. I just picked her up today from a family that bought her a few days ago only to find out both the mom and 2 kids are allergic. She is almost 11 weeks and I'll get a weight on her when I bring her to the vet next weekend. She is an absolute doll and is fitting in perfectly in just the few hours Ive had her. Weve been making frequent trips outside for potty time and lots of playtime. Kumah and Nala are both zonked out lol.

These are the best pictures I have at the moment since we all know puppies dont sit still for nothing.

She has been a lot of fun, and has brought some excitement into my home. Kumah is getting more and more comfortable with her. She shares her bed now and we havnt had any resource garding of toys (it helps that Kumah isnt much of a toy dog anyway). Its taking Kumah a little longer to share the couch with Nala though, unless Nala is on it first then she's ok. Theyre being fed on opposite sides of the bedroom in their kennels. Kumah did the sweetest thing yesterday morning when we woke up to go potty. She got up the stairs first and turned around and waited at the top looking at Nala almost like she was encouraging her to come up. Nala is a pro at stairs already too.
Let me tell you though, she is twice the little monster then Kumah was at this age lol. I need eyes on all sides of my head and like 3 more arms to keep up with her lol.

Yeah that not so much. I just meant that knowing one of her *relatives would be cool. Not necessarily the health genetics that go along with them.

The family I got her from gave me the breeder information, immunization history, and microchip info. She came from a breeder in pipestone, I know theres another byb up in Mora that breeds fawns too. Maybe they are related somewhere along the line, how weird and cool would that be.

I hope that her mask stays as full and dark as it is. Fawns look so regal with a dark mask when full grown.
Here is a much better picture of her

Aww congrats she is so cute! She will likely lose some of the sootiness, as Zoomer did. He used to have a sooty dark stripe down his back and some people thought he was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. It faded over time and his face isn't quite so dark any more either. Have fun with her!!!

Yes she is a very sootie fawn and I adore her mask.
Her and Kumah have decided to team up in tormenting the kitty cat. Nala starts off with pinning Cece on the floor and then when she wiggles her way free, they both chase her into the other room.

She is incredibly sweet, and has not even so much as nipped one time so far. She is very playful and outgoing and is super smart. The previous owner said she had been working with her a little bit but she already knows sit, lay down, come, and sit up. I couldnt believe how quickly she picked it up. Kumah is doing ok with no longer being an only child. She is having a little difficulty tolerating a bouncy barkey puppy in her face sometimes but its only the first day so im sure she'll get the hang of it soon.
