  • "tallest" dog on Oprah?

I just saw an ad for Oprah, with the "worlds tallest dog" & it wasn't Titan, it was the blue one that the guy was campainging/complaining to Guiness about!

He finally pimped out his overweight dane!

I'm not a big fan of Oprah, but I'm surprised her producers didn't do their research.

I am kind of sick of this freaking owner. He is just like a famewhore or something. Kind of disappointing, IMO.

I would hope she is having him on to debunk his story, but alas, Oprah is just too nice to do that.

The dog didn't get up on the couch and jump up and down did he?

Yeah, I just saw this too. I am VERY disappointed that they didnt do a fact check on this one. This does however prove that the photos that are around the internet that shows the dog in front of the couch are photoshopped. This is the same owner that we got emailed about isnt it Deb? I hope Im thinking of the same dog. The one on Oprah was a blue, and so was this bogus one.....I wish this owner would go away.

I guess I am not familiar with the story. I did receive an email from the Dane Association with pictures of this Dane, saying he was about to be the new Guinness record holder.

So what is everyone upset about? The photos are fake?

Hmmm, as far as I recall, Titan was given the title by Guiness and this owner came out saying George was taller. The pics show them measuring George way above his withers, like a couple inches up his neck so we were all "They are measuring him wrong duh." But I guess he also missed filing some sort of paperwork in time to be considered and that's why Titan got it before him. The guy just won't let it go. I wish we could see a pick of a real measurement. I'm sure Guiness will fact check it to death if it gets that far.

George's claim to fame is based on a small fraction of an inch. If he lost some of that weight, I wonder if he would still be a contender?

I just watched a youtube video of him, and he does look overweight. Poor dog. He would look fabulous (and I am sure he would feel much better) if he lost some weight. I am not sure though that losing weight would make him shorter though....right? So that should not effect his ability to win this Guinness thing....
