"...none of us know what private hell or hardships the next person may have endured or faces even now. We should never aim even the tiniest arrow at a heart that may be more fragile than we know..." Janice
He was also the dog in the "Little Cesar" dog food commercial....the dane trying to get into the bicycle basket. He's the grandfather of a dane I "know" from another board. The grandson dane's owner said the dog went hiking, took off after a deer and the owner found him dead when she caught up to him. Sad.
Poor Suzanne. She posted about the tragic loss of her dear Rumpus on another forum and mentioned that some sleazy person was selling her photos (stolen from her website) as a media story. Guess anyone will do anything for a buck.
Her story is a heartbreaking one. I can't even imagine how she felt when she found her baby. I suggest that opinions and conjecture about her beloved dog's death be held off of our forum ,out of respect, until the results of his necropsy is done.
I saw on another forum that Rumpus was chasing some deer and usually would come back and this time didn't. And she found him later. Rest In Peace Rumpus.
Oh my goodness... this news is heartbreaking and my heart hurts for Suzanne. I have admired her and her danes for quite some time now . How terrible. Their hikes are what they treasured most.
Rest in peace Start the Commotion "Rumpus"... you were such a sweet and handsome looking soul.
