Our Trinity needed a home and was going to a rescue if we couldn't help her. so we took care of any health issues, had her fixed, bought the largest create we could find and tons of toys to chew. Lol

A month ago I would never have sought out a Dane.
Now... well right now I'm not for sure if I have, but ...
I think I may always have one now...
Committed to one, trying to decide on the breed...

the best thing to happen to mer
I adopted the perfect dane. She is well trained and easy to train. I have MS and am in a power chair. She has learned about being around the chair and stays by my side. The things that tell me she was abused we work on and she is forgetting. Best dog ever!I adopted a perfect girl!

Well I have to admit we did not get our Dane from a Breeder. I got Jim Tom from a local girl. She posted her puppies on the local radio station web site, I called, she sent me pics of the mother (brindle) and the father (white with black patches). (please be aware I do not know much about the blood line to tell you the names of these dogs, its a learning progress.) I met up with her she had 3 males left. I chose my Dane. As she was talking with me she explained that she also had a baby calf and a huge pig inside her house. Let me also say she had 2 of her own kids ages 2 and 1. The vehicle she drove up in was horrible she stunk to no end and her kids didn't look very good either. She was also smoking with the windows up when she pulled up. I'm not trying to judge her by any means but I just knew right then and there that I was doing the right thing and getting this sweet puppy out of there. A few weeks later I found out that the mother of my Jim Tom died out in the cold and so did the other 2 puppies. So the answer to the question here is YES I rescued my Dane Jim Tom.
