How cute! Way to go Green Bean! We tried getting Winston to jump off the boat when we were stopped at the sand bar and he wanted to come in, but he just could make the jump into the water...I'll have to show him Green Bean's YouTube video. Maybe that will give him some confidence!!

Just to give you guys an idea, when Beans was 4 weeks, I took his whole litter and put them in the bathroom. I ran about three inches of warm water in the tub and let them in it together, just for a few minutes at a time. As he got older we took him out on our boat a few times before the end of the season.



I think I may have created a monster! I can't keep him out of the tub now, if I leave the door to the bathroom open, he is in there...

Today's dock dogs was NOT what Beans would consider fun. He DID jump in for a "practice" jump but his second chance, he refused. It was really early and I don't think he was as into it since it wasn't hot out yet.

McKenze (our rottie) DID jump however, and she jumped well enough to take the red rosette!

Green Bean has been practicing and his technique is getting better. It really helps that it is hot out here.






And, if you get too tired or aren't feeling brave enough to swim out too far, just wait for the dog who IS brave and AMBUSH them...
