Mom had to put Dad in the hospital yesterday. She just called me to let me know. Dad has alzheimers and has been doing well at home, but yesterday he regressed and wouldn't get out of bed. Mom couldn't get him to walk, eat or move, so she called the ambulance and put him in the hospital. As of this morning they couldn't find anything wrong. With Medicare there has to be a medical reason for him to stay in the hospital for at least 3 days so that they can put him in a nursing home. But this morning, they sent Mom home to get Dads' living will because the Dr thinks Dad is on the verge of a major stroke and may not make it because he's so frail. So tomorrow I'm heading to Florida to see my dad maybe for the last time. We need all the prayers that we can get! Thanks!!!

Im so sorry for you and your family. My Dad is in the hospital too. He's 84 and I just came back from seeing him in Ga. Its a very hard and heart wrenching thing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
