Anyone have a CLOSE UP picture of a traffic leash they could post or send to me? I'm going to make some for Roscoe and Ava. I've looked online but can't seem to find a close up picture so I can get a good look at how they are made. Thanks!

Just google traffic dog leads. They are just shorter leads.

The kind I use though, is a 6 foot lead, but has a built in traffic handle closer to the dog... love them!

              These are them:

Thanks guys!! Got all the emails Buuuuuut, not what I was looking for. Ok let me explain a little The ones that I want to make come in 12 or 18" length. They are just one big handle. I can't tell where they sew them at (details) with the pictures I found online. They don't sell them at any of the petstores here locally and I hate to buy one just to see how it is made.

So who has a picture for me? lol

This is what I have and I can take a pic of it tonight if you want? Unless somebody beats me to the punch.

In addition to what Linda posted (and the link I posted above), these are great leashes, too! Clips on both ends and grommets down the length of the leash (so you can clip it around your waist, a tree, etc.) and a handle close to the clip. I have the purple nylon one and LOVE IT. Poop baggie is a bonus, too.

Wow those are great leashes. I need to get a traffic leash for Faust. He already prefers to walk at heel and we are working to make sure he does not forget he likes to as he keeps older. I will have to check my little doggie store i go to here to see if they have any traffic ones. They had some really cool leashes last time I was there but we did not look too much since Faust is so small.

No not that one either You guys are trying so hard, thank you! Ok it is nylon-just like a regular leash. You know the basic 1 Inch leashes that come in solid colors that you can get at pet stores? Well same thing, just short (12 or 18 Inches long). They look like (and so I have heard) just a handle. IOW, you know the regular 1" leashes that come in 4 and 6 foot? Well imagine those without the straight part. Just a handle, about 12 or 18 inches long with a clip on the end.

Wow and I thought I was a genius and invented something similiar Just about a week ago I asked my son what he thought of a leash with a clasp on each end. One end would go on the dog's collar and then I was going to make a 'wrist collar' for people. The other end of the lead could clip on that He said it was a dumb idea but I loved it and thought it was a first! Kinda like a real fashion statement! bahahaha I can't tell you how many times I am at events, pet store, etc and only have one free hand.
